2.4 Danger due to Improper Handling

Danger of injury due to improper handling!
The filter holder user manual must be read before installing the cassette. Improper
handling of the filter holder can lead to severe injuries or destruction of the cassette
itself.
The clamping forces mentioned above may not be exceeded [Æ Chapter
"6. Technical Data", page 14]!
Regardless of membrane type, cassettes must not be allowed to dry out!
The membranes will lose their filtration properties if they dry out.
The specified chemical resistance must be observed!
The membranes could be damaged if other chemicals are used. The specified chemical
resistance can be found in the Validation Guide.
− For information about the chemical resistance of the membranes, ask our
applications specialists.
Do not use damaged components!
