Maintenance Works

Replacing the vacuum lips
 Remove the vacuum bar.
 Unscrew the star grips.
 Remove the plastic parts.
 Remove the vacuum lips.
 Insert new vacuum lips.
 Insert the plastic parts.
 Screw in and tighten the star grips.
Replacing the roller brushes
 Empty the dirty water tank.
 Press the appliance down using the
push handle.
 Turn the running gear to the front with
your foot.
 Push in the brush and remove it down-
wards.
 Insert and lock the new roller brush into
place.
 Turn the running gear to the rear with
your foot.
Replacing the disk brushes
 Empty the dirty water reservoir.
 Press the appliance down using the
push handle.
 Turn the running gear to the front with
your foot.
 Turn the button for setting the advance
speed in – direction.
 Raise the disk brushes.
 Turn the disk brushes through approxi-
mately 45°.
 Remove the disk brushes downwards.
 Insert the new disk brushes in reverse
sequence.
 Set the advance speed.
 Turn the running gear to the rear with
your foot.

To ensure a reliable operation of the appli-
ance maintenance contracts can be con-
cluded with the competent Kärcher sales
office.

Frost protection

In case of danger of frost:
 Empty the fresh and dirt water reser-
voirs.
 Store the appliance in a frost-protected
room.
