When gluing the décor foil on the roof of the vehicle make sure the décor foil is placed
in the centre of the roof. When gluing the décor foil on the luggage compartment lid
and sides of the vehicle, make sure the circumferential seams are equally distributed.
When gluing the décor foil on the bonnet of the vehicle, make sure the opening in the
décor foil is placed precisely on the Škoda symbol.

To smoothen the décor foils use only the spatula that is included in the set. Use of
any other spatula is strictly prohibited. It could result in surface damage (scratch-
ing) of the décor foils.
Procedure of gluing the décor foils on the roof, luggage compart-
ment lid, bonnet and sides of the vehicle
- Always proceed to relevant figures when gluing the décor foil.

- Always pay attention to the proper placement of the décor foil. Place the décor foil
and glui it at designated places using a suitable adhesive tape.
- Then glue auxiliary adhesive tapes (they serve as guide spots for gluing the décor
foil) to the longer side of the positioned décor foil (on the roof of the vehicle, on the
luggage compartment lid and sides of the vehicle), as indicated on the figures.
- Advice. For the 5-door version of the car position the décor foil on the door of the
vehicle as indicated on Fig. 64 (the circumferential seams on the front door must
be uniform). After fastening if with the adhesive tape and gluing the guide spots

- Tilt the corner of the décor foil and tear down the cover paper up to the adhesive
tapes. Hold the décor foil and cut the cover paper off. Make sure not to scratch the

- Wet the décor foil and the place on the vehicle body intended for gluing the décor
foil with higher amount of water solution with detergent (about several drops of
detergent per 1 litre of pure water).
- Adjust the décor foil back to its place.
- Advice. Be extremely particular about adjusting the opening in the décor foil
around the Škoda symbol (vehicle bonnet). The opening for aerial in the décor
foil on the roof of the vehicle is used for fitting only. If the aerial is mounted
correctly on the vehicle roof, then the gap between the opening in the décor foil
and the aerial holder is identical along the perimeter.
- In the 5-door version of the car glue first the décor foil on the front door of the
vehicle. Then check visually the size of the circumferential seams near the back
vehicle door - Fig. 77. If the circumferential seams are uniform, glue the décor foil.
