DÉCOR FOILS
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. Škoda Auto recommends the
fitting to be carried out by its contract partners.
To achieve good quality gluing of the décor foils it should be performed by workers
sufficiently experienced in this work.

Note. Use a clean microfiber cloth for final smoothing of the décor foils (not included
in the set).
Notice to gluiding the décor foils.
Gluing the décor foil on the vehicle roof, luggage compartment lid upper surface
and vehicle bonnet is identical for both the 3-door and 5-door versions. Caution.
Gluing the décor foils on the side of the vehicle is different.
Important instructions for gluing the décor foils
Park the vehicle in a dustfree hall and make sure the environment does not get con-
taminated during gluing the décor foils.
To ensure good quality of gluing the décor foils on the vehicle, the ambient operating
temperature must be within the range of 18 to 30 °C. Ensure that the parts are not
exposed to direct sunlight (Fig. 1).
First wash the areas intended for gluing the décor foils with a weak solution of a
suitable detergent, and then rinse them with clean water. Then degrease them using
Isopropanol or alcohol (Fig. 2).
