Cleaning of the surface
Risk of electric shock! Please separate the
extractor hood from the power supply
network by pulling the plug or the
disconnection of the fuse. Please pay
attention to the fact that no water seeps into
the appliance during the cleaning process.
Untimely cleaning of the surface saves later
a troublesome removing of stubborn
soiling. For the cleaning use only
commercial detergent or all-purpose
cleaners which are suitable for stainless
steel / aluminium. Please do not use
scouring agents or steel wool! After the
cleaning of the extractor hood please tend
the stainless steel surfaces with a high-
grade steel-care product.Only with a light
soapy water and a very soft cloth varnished
surfaces have to be cleaned. Please clean
the switch panel only with a soft and damp-
dry cloth.By extractor hoods with a gass
fronts beneath the metal grease filter ("Pe-
rimeter Extraction") fatty deposits can occur
on the edge of the glass fronts. These
deposits are founded physically and
represent no dysfunction of the extractor
hood. Please clean the glass fronts
beneath the filter regularly to prevent
stubborn soiling.

Remove / Clean the Grease

Risk of Fire! The performance of the exhaust
hood is affected by greasy debris; In order
to avoid the risk of fire, be certain to regularly
clean the metal filter. In the case of these
metal filters double-condensation filters are
involved which must be cleaned the latest
every two weeks.
In order to remove the metal filter, the
glass panel must be pressed down with
both hands until it locks. Hold the metal
filter with both hands on the grips and
move down until the magnetic contact
releases. Now the metal filter can be
removed downwards. Reassembly takes
place in the reverse order.
Before that, clean the metal filter parts where
you screw off the filter grips for that. Now
the metal filter can be disassembled into
individual filter plates. The cleaning is best
carried out in the dishwasher with a mild
dishwasher cleaning agent.
The manufacturer offers no guarantee in
the event of possible discoloration through
the use of aggressive cleaning products.
Temperatures above 65 degrees should
also be avoided.
