CLEANING AND CARE

Cleaning of surfaces:
Risk of electric shock! Disconnect the cooker hood from the power supply by pulling
out the mains plug or switching off the fuse. When cleaning, make sure that no water
enters the appliance. Cleaning the surface at an early stage will save you the trouble of
removing stubborn dirt later on. When cleaning, only use commercially available deter-
gents or all-purpose cleaners suitable for stainless steel / aluminium and CERAN
glass. Never use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
Grease deposits on the glass plate will occur in the fume cupboard opening. These
deposits are physically caused and no malfunction of the extractor hood. Clean with a
plastic pipe brush.
Cleaning and care instructions:
When removing and cleaning the condensation filter diaphragm and grease filter, the
accessible housing parts must be freed of deposited grease. This prevents a fire ha-
zard and maintains the functionality. Do not scrape off dried dirt, but soak it with a
damp cloth. Please do not use scouring agents or scratching sponges.
Glass surfaces:
The hob may only be cleaned with a mild glass cleaner and a very soft cloth. Please
clean the glass plate regularly to prevent stubborn soiling.
Stainless steel surfaces:
Use a mild stainless steel cleaner. Do not clean stainless steel surfaces with scratching
sponges and cleaning agents containing sand, soda, acid or chloride! Clean only in
grinding direction. We recommend our stainless steel cleaner TZ 710 for this purpose.
Aluminium, lacquer and plastic surfaces:
Use a soft microfibre cloth. Do not use dry cotton cloths. Use a mild window cleaner
and no aggressive, acidic or alkaline cleaners! Do not use abrasive cleaners!
Note: Do not apply alcohol (spiritus) to plastic surfaces, as matt spots may occur.
Caution: Ventilate kitchen sufficiently, no open flame.
Only clean surfaces with a light detergent solution and a very soft microfibre cloth. Do
not use dry linen or cotton cloths.
