• Staying with the example of setting the motor brake function - release the set-up button at the exact time when the
green LED flashes twice briefly (2x).
The red speed controller LED now flashes to indicate the value currently set for the motor brake function (e.g. 3x
short flashes = 10%).
Flashing frequency of the red LED (currently set value for motor braking function):
1x short = 0%
2x short = 5%
3x short = 10%
4x short = 15%
• Press the set-up button at the speed controller quickly to select the next value. Check the flash signal of the red
LED
Once the desired value is reached (for 40% the red LED will flash 1 x long and 3 x short), switch off the speed
controller unit. This concludes the programming. The value is saved.
If you wish to adjust other settings (e.g. low-voltage protection), proceed as described above.
Release the set-up button exactly when the green LED flashes for the corresponding function to be ad-
justed (or the corresponding beep tone is heard, depending on the motor); an exact description of the
individual functions is given on the following pages.
Then press the set-up button shortly as often as required until the red LED flashes corresponding to the
desired setting value.
If the speed controller unit is switched off, the current setting and/or value will be saved.

The settings/values with the grey background are the factory settings made by the manufacturer. For
newer speed controller versions, the manufacturer may have stored other basic settings.
Usually, the speed controller is delivered programmed suitably for the vehicle. If you want to programme it
on your own, always check all settings or adjust them to your preferences.
