Pour le nettoyage de l'extérieur de l'appareil, un chiffon sec et non-pelucheux est
suffisant.
En cas de salissures plus importantes, vous pouvez utiliser un chiffon humidifié
d'eau tiède et le cas échéant d'une goutte de détergent doux.
La poussière qui s'est accumulée sur les aubes du ventilateur du bloc d'alimentation
ATX ou sur le capot du système de ventilation peut être enlevée au moyen d'un pin-
ceau fin à longs poils et d'un aspirateur.
Le pinceau ne doit pas être introduit plus loin que jusqu'aux
aubes du ventilateur car il y a danger de mort par électrocution!

acquis un produit au fonctionnement sûr correspondant aux derniers progrès de la
technique.
D'éventuels problèmes ou anomalies pouvant cependant subvenir, nous décrivons
ci-dessous comment parer vous-même à ces dérangements.
Prenez impérativement en compte toutes les consignes de sécu-
rité de ce mode d'emploi !

• Mains switch
Via the mains switch the power unit is switched on and off.
Please do equally observe paragraph 5 "The ATX Push-button ".
• Fan
The fan removes the excessive heat to the outside.
Power unit housing slots and openings must not be covered or
obstructed since this could result in a heat build-up in the interior of
the power unit, destroying it!
• Non-heating device connection
First switch off the ATX power unit using the mains switch. Then connect it to a
230V/50Hz mains socket with protective conductor using the supplied mains
power cord.
• Voltage selector switch 230V/115V
There may be an additional slide switch on the back side of the ATX power unit for
changeover between 230V and 115V input voltage.
If your ATX power unit has a selector switch, this switch has to be in
position "230" and must not be moved into another position since
otherwise the power unit as well as your PC will be destroyed!
5. The ATX Push-button
With this ATX case the power switch on the front panel is a push-button that only
starts the ATX power unit via the ATX motherboard from standby or reduces it to
standby from normal operation.
This results in the fact that the ATX power unit cannot be switched on via the mains
switch only.
Upon switching on the ATX power unit via the mains switch (on the rear panel of the
ATX case) the power unit is in standby operation.
In this mode it supplies the "+5V standby voltage" to the motherboard necessary for
turning on the PC via keyboard or mouse. The PC does not start yet, no image is dis-
played.
In order to start the PC (and to load the operating system), the power push-button on
the front panel of the ATX case has to be pressed first (provided the two bush-button
cables are connected correctly to the motherboard!).
