Malfunction Remedy
No operation Is the power cord attached correctly at both ends?
Is the device switched on?
Is the mains socket ready for service?
Are all devices in the interior of the computer atta-
ched correctly? If, e.g. the hard disk cable has been
attached the wrong way around, the computer was
not able to start owing to a short circuit and the
power unit does not start either!
Computer does not When switching on the power unit, using the mains
start upon switching on switch on the back of the ATX power unit, only
the power unit standby voltage applies at the motherboard.
Only by shortly pressing the power push-button on
the front panel of your PC case the ATX power unit is
switched on, provided the power push-button is cor-
rectly attached to the matching connection of your
motherboard.

L'interrupteur met le bloc d'alimentation sous ou hors tension.
Veuillez lire sous "5. La touche ATX".
• Ventilateur
Le ventilateur souffle la chaleur excédentaire vers l'extérieur.
Faites attention à ce que les fentes du capot et les orifices du bloc
d'alimentation ne soient ni couverts ni fermés pour éviter un endom-
magement éventuel par accumulation de chaleur à l'intérieur du bloc
d'alimentation !
• Branchement de l'appareil à posistor
Mettez tout d'abord le bloc d'alimentation ATX hors tension au moyen de l'inter-
rupteur. Raccordez-le ensuite à une prise d'alimentation de 230V/50Hz avec fil de
mise à la terre au moyen du câble de raccordement fourni.
• Commutateur 230V/115V
Il se peut qu'un interrupteur coulissant se trouve sur le dos du bloc d'alimentation
ATX qui permet de commuter la tension d'entrée entre 230V et 115V!
Au cas ou votre appareil dispose d'un tel interrupteur, celui-ci doit
être dans la position "230" et il ne doit en aucun cas être modifié
ce qui entraînerait la destruction du bloc d'alimentation et de vot-
re ordinateur.
