7. Functioning check and operation

After mounting the smoke detector, a function control should be carried out.
To do this, proceed as follows:
• Press the test button (3) till an alarm is triggered (acoustically through
transducer and optically by means of the indicator light). The test is
terminated on releasing the test button.
• The integration and addressing of the radio smoke detector "RM50" in
combination with the alarm dialler "AW50" is described in the operating
instructions of the "AW50".
