13. Troubleshooting

With this monitor, you purchased a product built to the state of the art and operationally safe. Nevertheless,
problems or errors may occur. Therefore, we would like to describe how to eliminate possible errors here:
Always observe the safety information!
No picture and no sound:
• The connection to the on-board grid is defective > Check connections.
• The ignition of the vehicle is not on.
• The fuse in the red connection line has tripped.
• The screen is not on.
No picture:
• The connection of the camera(s) has come loose > Check plug connector(s).
No sound:
• The camera has no integrated microphone.
• The speaker is switched off.
• The volume is set too low.
Picture is too dark:
• The picture setting in the menu is incorrect.
• The camera has no integrated IR lighting.
The picture is colourless:
• The picture setting in the menu is incorrect.
• Colour rendering is only possible within great limitations in dark environments. This is normal and not a
fault.
Automatic camera switching to the corresponding input does not work:
• The white, blue or brown cable is not properly connected > Check connections.
The camera picture is mirror-inverted when not desired:
• Wrong setting in the menu (item AUTO SCAN).
• Additional mirroring may be set at the camera.
