8. Inserting/replacing the remote control battery

Keep batteries out of reach of children.
Observe correct polarity when inserting the battery.
Remove the battery when the device is not in use for extended periods of time.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause chemical burns to skin when touched. Use adequate
protective gloves in this case.
Do not short-circuit the battery and do not throw it into fire. It also must not be recharged. Dan-
ger of explosion.
The battery of the remote control may be protected from discharge by an isolation film at initial
commissioning. In this case, remove this film before use by pulling it out of the remote control's
battery compartment.
• Pull the battery holder at the rear of the remote control out.
• If required, remove the discharged battery and insert a new 3 V lithium button cell CR2025. The correct
polarity is indicated on the rear of the remote control.
• Insert the batteries in the remote control again.
• If the remote control no longer functions properly or if its range reduces strongly, the battery is dischar-
ged and must be replaced by a new one of the same type.

9. Installation

The screen can be attached inside the vehicle with the enclosed support or with the mounting bracket.
Please select the place of installation carefully so that the device neither influences the driver's
activity nor distracts him from the traffic.
No parts must be installed in the airbag trigger area because this may cause injury to the vehic-
le passengers in case of accident.
Any changes in the vehicle that become necessary for installation of the monitor or other com-
ponents must be carried out in such a way that neither traffic security nor the stability of the car
are affected. With many cars, the type approval will lapse if you merely saw out a section of the
sheet metal.
Before drilling the attachment holes, make sure that no electric cables, brake lines, the fuel
tank or similar are damaged.
When installing the monitor, take the risk of accident into consideration which can arise from
devices being torn away in case of an accident. Therefore attach it securely in a place where it
cannot become a danger to passengers.
• Select a suitable mounting location.
• If the sun blind is needed, you can push it into the slots provided at the front of the housing.
