e) Frequency Measurement (electrical) "Hz%" Function

The voltage and current measurement ranges are occupied with subfunctions for frequency
measurement. These measuring functions require a signal level of >15 Vrms and are there-
fore suitable for mains voltage.
To measure the frequency of the current or voltage signal, push the button "Hz%". The
display shows the frequency in Hz. To switch the display, push the button "Hz%" again.
Pulse ratio "Hz%" function
If you would like to display the ratio of the positive to the negative half wave in percent, push
the button "Hz%" twice. The display shows the ratio of the positive half-wave in percent. To
switch the display, push the button "Hz%" again.
f) HOLD Function
The Hold function keeps the currently indicated measured value in the displays to allow you to read or record it easily.
If you test live wires, make sure that this function is deactivated before the measurement starts.
Otherwise, the measurement will be incorrect!
To switch on the Hold function, push the "HOLD" button; a signal sound confirms this command and "HOLD" appears
on the display.
In order to switch off the Hold function, push the "HOLD" button again or change the measurement function.

g) Automatic Deactivation Function "APO"

The DMM turns off automatically after approx. 15 minutes if no button or rotary switch is operated. This function
protects the battery, saves battery power and extends the operating time. The active function is displayed with the
symbol "APO" in the display.
The DMM emits 5 brief beeps approx. 1 minute before switching off. If the deactivation function is cancelled with any
button during this time, the next deactivation signal will sound after 15 minutes. Deactivation is signalled with a long
beep.
To reactivate the DMM after automatic shutdown, use the rotary control or push any key.
Automatic deactivation can be deactivate manually.
Switch off the meter (OFF). Keep the button "MODE" depressed and Switch on the DMM at the rotary control. The
"APO" symbol is not visible. Automatic switching off remains inactive until the meter is turned off via the rotary control.
