Safety information

• To maintain the product in safe condition and to ensure safe
operation, the user must without fail observe the safety
instructions and warnings contained in these operating
instructions!
• Do not use the product in areas or under unfavourable
ambient conditions where combustible gases, fumes or dust
are or may be present! For your own safety it is essential to
avoid allowing the product to become damp or wet!
Check the product for damage from time to time!
• When opening covers or removing components, live parts may
be exposed. Connection points may also be live. Before main-

tenance, repair or replacing components or assemblies, the
product must be disconnected from the supply voltage! Main-
tenance or repair must only be performed by a specialist fami-
liar with the associated dangers and relevant regulations!
• When it is thought that safe operation is no longer possible,
the product is to be taken out of service and protected from
unintentional use. Safe operation is to be considered no lon-
ger possible when:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product no longer functions
- after prolonged storage under unfavourable conditions
or
- when severe transportation stress cannot be ruled out.
In industrial facilities the accident-prevention regulations of the
Industrial Employers' Liability Association for electrical systems
and equipment must be observed!
The product does not belong in the hands of children!
Take great care not to damage the sensor cover (plastic lens) nor
to drop or mishandle the alarm system due to its sensitive elec-
tronics!

Product description

The product consists of an IR Sensor for connection out of doors
and an Alarm Unit for connection to a power socket indoors.
