• Rotate the control completely anticlockwise to the stop!
• Now wait until the level of daylight is reached at which the
floodlight (if connected) is to switch on!
• Now rotate the control slowly clockwise until the floodlight (if
connected) switches on! During this process walk through the
sensor area of coverage otherwise the floodlight will not
switch on.
3. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted by means of the
"Operating sensitivity" control
maximum sensitivity; rotated fully anticlockwise = minimum
sensitivity).

Manual operation

As described in the chapter "Installation", an external switch
(e.g. light switch) is useful to activate manual operation. Proceed
as follows:
• Switch the sensor off and after approx. 2 - 3 seconds on again;
a floodlight, if connected, then lights 'permanently'.
The sensor remains active and the alarm/doorbell thereby in
operation.
• Switch the sensor off for at least 15 seconds and then on again,
to set the original mode once more!
Note:
If manual operation is activated during the day when the twi-
light control is set for night operation, a floodlight (if connected)
will not be switched on again until the predetermined degree of
darkness occurs.

Maintenance

Attention!
Before beginning with maintenance, disconnect the unit from
the power supply completely (remove the fuse)!
Normally the unit requires no maintenance. The sensor lens
should, however, be cleaned regularly with a clean, soft, damp
cloth to guarantee proper operation!
Fault-finding
Attention!
Under no circumstances attempt to undertake the repair of the
Alarm Unit or sensor! The system can be damaged by this. In
addition, guarantee rights will become void! Also, personal
injury can result. Accordingly, turn to our Hotline.
Sensor does not switch on
1. Is the light switch switched on?
2. Switch the light switch off and on again quickly!
3. Is the sensor adjusted for the area of coverage?
4. Let a specialist check the electrical connections!
5. Check whether the sensor is being interfered with by extra-
neous light!
Sensor does not switch off.
1. Check whether the sensitivity is set to minimum!
2. Is someone within the area of coverage of the sensor?
