3. Make sure that the sensor is not installed in an unstable positi-
on or moving in the wind! Mount the sensor without fail in a
stable and solid location!
4. The sensor should not be directed towards something which is
causing a change in temperature, e.g. sun, water, air conditio-
ning or heating equipment!
5. Are there white or reflective surfaces within the area being
monitored?
6. Please note that the sensor is more sensitive in winter!
Floodlight (if connected) remains switched on.
1. This fault can occur after a brief interruption of the electrical
power. Switch the unit off for at least 15 seconds to reset the
sensor!
2. If the Floodlight is repeatedly activated, the same fault is
occurring. This condition can be checked by covering the sen-
sor briefly with a carton!
Floodlight (if connected) switches itself on uncontrollably
1. Reduce the sensitivity of the sensor!
