Setting the display contrast

The display contrast can be adjusted in 10 steps.
Press the Menu display button.

Tone or pulse dialling

This feature enables you to use your telephone both on the older
(PULSE DIALLING) exchanges and on the new (TONE DIALLING)
exchanges. The factory setting is TONE dialling.

Setting up dialling blocks

You can set up to four dialling blocks on your telephone. You can use
the dialling blocks to block particular dialling codes, international dialling
codes and also dialling codes to chargeable phone numbers. The entry
for a dialling block can be up to four digits long.
Example 1:
With the entry 02xx, all dialling codes beginning with 02 are blocked.
Example 2:
With the entry 00xx, all international connections are blocked.
