- Sending and receiving text messages -
SMS using Deutsche Telekom and Anny Way.
You can also receive SMS messages with your telephone from both
providers at the same time and have the choice of sending messages
with one or other provider. But first you must register with both
providers.
Sending via Deutsche Telekom and receiving from both providers.
o Choose the setting Anny Way for the Sending Service Centre as
described in Chapter 7.9.
o Send a test message with any content (e.g. Test) to the number 2 5 4
7 and wait for a confirmation, which you will receive as a text
message. This can take a few minutes.
o Choose the setting Dt. Telekom for the Sending Service Centre as
described in Chapter 7.9.
o Now send a message with the text ANMELD (register) to the number
8 8 8 8 and after a few minutes you will receive a confirmation as a
text message.
Sending via Anny Way and receiving from both providers.
o Send a message with the text ANMELD (register) to the number
8 8 8 8 and wait for a confirmation, which you will receive as a text
message. This can take a few minutes.
o Choose the setting Anny Way for the Sending Service Centre as
described in Chapter 7.9.
o Send a test message with any content (e.g. Test) to the number
2 5 4 7 and after a few minutes you will receive a confirmation as a
text message.

Information on memory capacity

A total of up to 25 SMS messages, each with 160 characters, can be
saved in the three folders Inbox, Outbox and Drafts. When the memory
is full, an appropriate warning will appear and you must delete either
individual or all SMS messages.
