Using Pause

With a few, older private exchanges, it is necessary to dial a certain
number (e.g. "9" or "0") in order, after a short pause, to obtain a dialling
tone for an outside line on the extension.
Hold the button # for two seconds between the number for the outside
line and the actual telephone number. In the display appears P. After
connecting to an outside line your telephone will wait for 3 seconds
before dialling the actual telephone number. The pause can also be
saved with numbers in the phone book.
9.5. Outside line code and pause automatically insert
If you have entered an outside line code, the outside line code will be
inserted automatically when the phone book entries are copied between
the SIM card and the internal phonebook.
Special note: If you do not need an outside line code, do not make any
settings in this area.
Press the Menu display button.
Select Base Settings with
Select Access Code with
Enter SYS PIN (factory setting 0000) and press OK.
Now enter the required outside line access code with a maximum of 6
characters. The pause can be entered after the access code by
holding the # for two seconds until the P displays. Incorrect entries
can be deleted with the Clear display button.
Confirm your entry with Save.
Exit the menu by pressing the Back display button repeatedly.
