Switching off the warning tone for new SMS messages

As soon as you receive an SMS message, you will hear a signal tone
and you will be informed via the display. If you do not want to be
informed of newly received SMS messages by means of this signal
tone, for example at night, this tone can be switched off.
Press the MENU display button. The display will show SMS Text
Messaging.
Confirm with OK. The display will show Write Message.
Select SMS Settings with
Select New SMS Beep with
Switch the warning tone on or off using
OK.
Exit the menu by pressing the Back display button repeatedly.

Selecting the Send Service Centre

The two possible phone numbers for sending SMS messages are
already pre-programmed. SMS messages are normally always sent
using the first phone number (factory setting: Deutsche Telekom). If you
want to specify a different phone number as the Send Service Centre,
proceed as follows:
Press the MENU display button. The display will show SMS Text
Messaging.
Confirm with OK. The display will show Write Message.
Select SMS Settings with
