2. Intended use

The range of use of this surveillance camera covers video and audio surveillance of
objects. It has been designed to observe and secure obstructed or critical areas.
On the side of the housing, the surveillance camera is equipped with an SD card
slot that supports SDHC. You can use SD memory cards of up to 32 GB. The
images can be stored on a memory card for later playback on a PC with an SD card
reader. The camera can also be connected to a monitor.
The surveillance camera is equipped with 1 photo sensor and 8 IR LEDs which
serve as a light source when it is dark. Please note that this causes the images to
be black and white. The camera has a vertical range of 35° upwards and 35°
downwards.
The delivered mini-USB to USB cable connects the surveillance camera to a PC.
The surveillance camera is recognised by the PC as a mass storage device.
The surveillance camera has a built-in rechargeable battery which serves as emer-
gency power supply. During a power outage, the built-in battery ensures operation
of up to 1 hour.
The wall power supply (5V/DC) is used to supply the device with power and to
charge the built-in battery.
The components included in delivery are intended for dry indoor use only. They
must not get damp or wet.
Please note that you incur a penalty if you observe or record others with this camera
without their knowing and consent.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and
involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of this product may be modified or rebuilt.
