using them or connecting the wall power supply to the mains
supply. This process may take several hours.
• Electronic devices are no toys and should be kept out of the
reach of children!
• Do not cover the surveillance camera or the wall power supply
during operation. Always ensure sufficient ventilation.
• The wall power supply complies with safety class II. It may
only be connected to a standard household 230 V~/50 Hz
mains supply socket.
• Please contact a qualified expert if you are not sure about the
safety or the correct use of the system components.
• No devices with strong electric fields such as e.g. mobile
phones, radio devices, electric engines etc. must be in the
proximity of the surveillance camera.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended.
Plastic foil/bags etc. can become dangerous toys for children,
there is risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer
possible, disconnect the device immediately and secure it
against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage,
- the device does not function any longer or
- the device has been stored under unfavourable
conditions or
- after it has been exposed to heavy stress during transport.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regula-
tions of the Employer's Liability Insurance Association for
Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be
observed.
