Prescribed Use

The Colour Camera is intended for the monitoring and
securing of poorly visible or critical areas (as shop mon-
itoring, with door communicator systems, in entrance
areas or parking lots, etc.) and for the playback of the
recorded images by means of a suitable TV or monitor
with AV input.
The Colour Camera can be used indoors as well as in
protected outdoor areas.
Please observe that it is a criminal offence to observe
people with the camera without their knowledge or per-
mission.
Only connect this product to 12 Volts direct voltage.

It can be presumed that safe operation is no longer pos-
sible, if:
• the camera or the connecting cables of mains units
show visible damages
• the camera or connected mains units no longer work
• the product was stored under unfavourable condi-
tions for a long period of time
• it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by
transport.
In case of failures, mains units might deliver voltages of
more than 50 VDC which might involve dangers, even if
the output voltage of the mains unit is lower.
Before doing cleaning or maintenance work at the
camera or a connected device, observe the follow-
ing safety instructions:
When opening covers or removing parts, you
might expose live parts.
Therefore, disconnect the device from all
voltage sources before you perform mainte-
nance work or repairs.
