3. Explanation of symbols

A lightning symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger
of electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk in han-
dling, operating or controlling the product.
The hand symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

4. Safety instructions

The guarantee will be void if damage is incurred resulting from
non-compliance with these operating instructions. We assume
no liability for any consequential damage!
We do accept any liability for personal injury or damage to proper-
ty caused by incorrect handling or non-observance of the safety
instructions. In such cases the warranty/guarantee is voided.
• The delivered components must not be modified or rebuilt, as
not only the CE approval will become void but also the war-
ranty/guarantee.
• The surveillance camera as well as the wall power supply
must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight,
intense vibration or heavy mechanical stress.
• The operation of this surveillance camera is no substitute for
your responsibility to supervise children or other people in
need of special care. It only serves as a support.
• When the system components are taken from a cold to a warm
room (e.g. during transport), condensation may be produced.
This water could damage the product. There is also the danger
of a deadly electric shock! Therefore, you should allow the
