PROTECTIVE FEATURES
To ensure safe operation and handling, the battery charger
provides protection against:
- sparking when connecting the clamps, as the charging lines
are not live
- reverse polarity and short-circuiting the charging lines
- thermal overload of the battery charger
- optional electronics for immobilising battery-powered vehicles
as long as they are connected to the mains for charging
Caution! The optional vehicle immobiliser "2-pole with
changeover contact: 4,100,369" must NEVER be run on
two different circuits.

Example: A relay makes it impossible to start up a vehicle whose
battery is being recharged.
