Maintenance

Regularly check the technical safety of the effect light, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the housing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and make
sure it is not unintentionally operated. Pull the power plug out of the wall outlet!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• the device shows visible damages
• the device no longer works
• the device has been stored for a long time under unfavourable conditions
• the device has been subjected to heavy transport strain
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the effect light:
After switching off the device wait at least 10 minutes before opening it!
Live components may be exposed if the cover is opened or if components are removed.
Before any maintenance or repair work, the device must be disconnected from all voltage
sources.
Capacitors in the device can still carry a charge even if the device has been disconnected from
all voltage sources.
Repair work must only be carried out by specialists familiar with the hazards involved and the
relevant regulations.

Cleaning

The outside of the effect light should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or brush.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the housing.
