Changing the fuse

If you have to replace fuses, ensure that you only use fuses of the specified type and rated current (see specifications).
Do not repair fuses or bridge the fuse holders.
• Unplug the mains connector from the wall socket and from the mains socket on the device.
• Carefully prise the fuse holder out of the mains connection using a suitable screwdriver
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Carefully push the fuse holder with the new fuse back into its position at the mains connection of the device.
• Only then may you reconnect the device to the mains and put it into operation again.

Handling

• Never operate the device when the housing is damaged or not covered properly.
• The device is not suitable for continuous operation. Pauses in operation increase the operational life span of the
device.
• Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device was taken from a cold to a warm
environment. The condensation water generated could destroy the product. Allow the device to reach room
temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation water has evaporated.
• Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Never pull on the power cable. Only unplug it by pulling on the plug.
• Unplug the power supply if you do not use the device over a period of time.
• For safety reasons, always pull the mains plug from the socket during a thunderstorm.
• To ensure sufficient ventilation, do not cover the device. In addition, air circulation must not be obstructed by
objects such as magazines, tablecloths or curtains etc.
