Set-up
Maintaining, operating and starting up this product must only be carried out
by appropriately qualified persons, with consideration of these operating
instructions.
When selecting the installation location for your device, avoid vibration, dust,
hot and cold temperatures and dampness. Furthermore, keep the product
away from strong transformers or motors.
The device must be mounted out of reach of persons who are not appropri-
ately qualified.
When installing the product ensure that the adaptor's power cord is not
jammed or damaged by sharp edges.
Furthermore, the device must be secured by a second, independent safety
mounting suspension, if mounted in an elevated position. No part of the instal-
lation may fall down.
Observe all the relevant regulations when mounting/installing the device.
The laser has a tripod socket underneath, in which conventional photo tripods may be screwed in.
Alternatively, the device may be held in the hand.
Installation on a tripod
• Screw the tripod to the tripod socket on the bottom of the housing. Do not fasten the tripod
screw to much, since the screw thread may be damaged.
• Secure the fixture by tightening the counter nut (knurled head screw) to the tripod.
• Set the incline angle as desired and tighten the clamping screw on the joint.
Charging the built-in rechargeable batteries
The mains socket to which the transformer is connected must be easily
accessible, so the device can be quickly isolated from the mains voltage in the
event of a fault.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling the mains cables and mains connectors. Mains volt-
age can give severe electric shocks, which can be fatal.
Do not leave the cables trailing free; route them in an orderly and profession-
al way to prevent accidents.
If the device should be charged through the USB connection of another
device, this USB connection muss have a minimum capacity of 500mA.
• Switch the device off by pushing the OFF/ON (7) switch in the OFF position.
• Plug the small USB plug of the enclosed connection cable in the USB connection (8).
• Plug the big USB plug of the connection cable in the respective USB plug on the power adap-
tor or in a standardised USB connection of another device.
• Plug the power adaptor in a wall power plug or activate the USB connection of the other device.
• During the charging process, the LED display (4) on the upper side of the device will glow red.
When the charging process is finished, it will glow yellow.
• Disconnect the device from the power supply after the LED display (4) glows yellow. Do not
overcharge the rechargeable battery.
• When the laser or LED performance decreases during operation, the rechargeable battery
must be recharged.

Operation

• Turn the device on with the ON/OFF switch (7) (push switch in position ON).
• While the device is turned on, the LED display (4) glows green.
• Turn the LED light (6) on or off with the LED switch (switch pushed down = turned on). The
LED light generates a cloud-like effect.
• Turn the laser effect on or off with the LASER switch (2) (switch pushed down = turned on).
The laser generates a green/red starry sky effect.
• The turned-on laser effect generates red and green laser beams from the laser aperture (1) on
the front side of the device.
• The speed of the laser effect may be adjusted with the controller SPEED (3).
Handling
• Never switch the laser effect device on and off at short intervals. This will considerably reduce
the working life of the device.
• The device is not suitable for continuous use. After 2 hours of operation, the device should be
switched of for some time (approx. 30 minutes) to cool down.
• Never switch on the device immediately after it has been taken from a cold into a warm envi-
ronment. The condensation that forms might destroy your unit.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before switching it on. Wait until the condensation
has evaporated.
• To ensure sufficient ventilation, do not cover the device. Furthermore, the air circulation must
not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains or anything similar.

Maintenance

Before cleaning the laser, disconnect it from the power supply (disconnect the
power adaptor) and switch off.
Make sure that the inside of the device does not get wet or damp.
The outside of the device should be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth or dry brush.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface
of the housing.
Disposal
Please dispose of the unserviceable product according to the current statutory
requirements.
