13. USB connection to the computer

To connect the radio colour table clock to a computer, you will need a suitable USB cable (type A plug to mini USB,
not supplied as standard).
If the radio colour table clock is connected to a computer, it will be detected by the computer as an external card
reader. With some operating systems, each of the possible card slots is detected as a separate drive.
• Insert the small plug (mini-USB) into the small USB port (16) on the side of the radio colour table clock.
• Insert the other USB plug into a free USB port on your computer.
• The radio colour table clock displays a USB symbol to indicate that the radio colour table clock is now connected
to a computer.
Depending on the operating system, you may have to adapt the settings to your computer (e.g. assign/
enable drive letters). For more information see the Help function for your operating system. Observe the
procedure specifi ed for your particular operating system when disconnecting the radio colour clock from
the computer. The second USB port (18) on the side of the radio colour table clock is for a USB stick.
