3. Intended Use

The radio colour table clock with weather station (referred to below as radio-colour table clock) displays the current
time and climatic data and a weather forecast. It can also be used to view images that are stored on digital storage
media. The product also has a built-in alarm function. It can also be operated by remote control. Climatic data from up
to 5 outdoor sensors can be received by radio. The time can be synchronised with the DCF signal.
The product is intended for private use only. It is not suitable for medical purposes or providing information to the
public.
The components of this product are not toys. They contains fragile glass and small parts that can be swallowed, as
well as batteries. It should be kept out of the reach of children!
Keep all components out of the reach of children.
The radio colour table clock with weather station, the remote control and the mains adapter are suitable only for dry
indoor use. The outdoor sensor is suitable for operation in outdoor areas.
The radio colour table clock with weather station is operated via the supplied mains adapter. The remote control and
the outdoor sensor are battery-operated.
Any use other than the one described above is inadmissible and damages this product. Misuse may also lead to risks
such as short circuiting and fi re. The safety instructions must be observed without fail. This product complies with the
applicable national and European specifi cations.

4. Symbols

Hazard warnings and signs are clearly marked in the Operating Instructions. The following symbols are used:
The symbol with lightning inside the triangle is used to indicate a health hazard, e.g. by electric shock.
The symbol with the exclamation mark inside the triangle indicates particular hazards during handling,
operation or control.
This symbol denotes information provided to improve understanding of the procedures.
