b) Background illumination
The background illumination is activated together with the time projection (depending on the
position of the slider (J) on the bottom in the battery compartment):
• Position "AUTO". The background illumination and time projection is activated for 10
seconds if you press on the radio projection clock and thus activate the button "A" in the base.
• Position "BACKLIGHT": The backlight is permanently activated (only possible with connected
power pack unit). The time projection is activated for 10 seconds if you press on the radio
projection clock and thus activate the button "A" in the base.
• Position "BACKLIGHT/PROJECTION": The backlight and the time projection are permanently
activated (only possible with connected power pack unit).
As a special feature, you can change the background colour of the projection clock.
For this purpose, proceed as follows:
• Activate the background illumination (either via the button on the bottom or the slider (J) in
the battery compartment).
• Once the background illumination is active, push down on the projection clock for approx.
2 seconds to activate the buttons "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (A) on the bottom (the buttons (A) are
integrated in the base).
Now the background illumination changes its colour; let go of the clock.
• Once the desired colour is visible, push down on the projection clock for approx. 2 seconds
to activate the buttons "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (A) on the bottom (the buttons (A) are integrated
in the base).
The setting is saved.
