4. Safety Instructions

The warranty will lapse for damage due to non-compliance with these
operating instructions. We will not assume liability for any resulting
damage.
We do not accept liability for damage to property and injury to persons
caused by mishandling or non-compliance with the safety instructions!
The warranty will be rendered null and void in such cases.
Dear customer, The safety instructions and danger warnings below are not only for the
protection of the device but also to protect your well being. Please read carefully through the
following points:
• For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or
modifications to the product are not permitted.
Never disassemble the product! There is a risk of a fatal electric shock.
• The design of the mains plug complies with safety class 2. Only connect the
power pack unit to a normal mains socket (230 V~/ 50 Hz).
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If you notice any damage, do not use the product any longer, disconnect it
from the mains, pull the power adapter out of the mains socket. Bring it to a
specialized workshop or dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly way.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Be
especially careful when children are around. Install the product out of the
reach of children.
Children cannot assess the dangers involved when dealing with electric
current.
• Radio projection clock and the power pack unit may only be operated in dry
indoor rooms. Neither the radio projection clock nor the power pack unit may
become wet. Mortal danger through electric shock!
The outdoor sensor is suitable for sheltered outdoor areas (e.g. under a roof
projection).
Observe proper alignment/attachment during installation and never submerge
the outdoor sensor in water!
• The product may not be exposed to mechanical strain.
• Never pour liquids on electrical devices, and never place any liquid-containing
objects (such as vases) on top of them or near them. This would cause a
serious danger of fire or electric shock.
