2. Explanation of symbols

The symbol with the lightning in a triangle indicates that there is a risk to your health,
e.g. due to an electric shock.
The symbol with an exclamation mark in a triangle is used to highlight important infor-
mation in these operating instructions. Always read this information carefully.
The arrow symbol indicates special information and advice on how to use the product.

3. Intended use

The product has been designed to charge NiCd and NiMH rechargeable batteries (types AA/
Mignon, AAA/micro, sub-C, C) with the DeltaU charging process. The product can also be used
to charge lithium-ion round cells (types 26650, 22650, 26500, 18650, 17670, 18490, 17500,
17335, 16340/123A, 14500 and 10440). Charging currents of 300 mA, 500 mA, 700 mA and
1000 mA can be selected.
In addition, the product also offers a test function for inserted rechargeable batteries.
Various safety features are integrated, such as short-circuit protection, overload protection and
overheat protection.
A USB power output can be used, for example, to charge a smartphone.
Operation is with 7 control keys and an easy-to-read LC display (lights up when a key is pressed).
The external power adapter enclosed is used to supply the power.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in bathrooms) must be avoided under all circumstances.
This product complies with statutory national and European regulations.
To ensure that the product remains in this state and to guarantee safe operation, always follow
the information in these operating instructions.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
