2. Attach the condensate elbow [B] supplied
to the condensate discharge outlet [A] on
the bottom of the ventilation unit. The con-
densate elbow has a sleeve with a lip seal
and can be turned in any direction (360°).
3. Professionally connect a drain pipe [R]
(diameter 28) or a ¾" water hose [S] to
the condensate elbow. To connect the
water hose, use the reducer supplied [C]
(d=28mm to d=19mm).

left-hand versions are mirror image
4. Secure the condensate elbow to prevent it
falling out. To do this, attach the supplied
cable tie [K] to the condensate elbow and
hook the cable tie onto one of the eyes [D].
5. If the humidity level in the installation room
is disproportionately high, insulate the
drain and condensate drain connector to
avoid condensate.
NOTICE
Bacterial attacks are possible if a siphon is
fitted without a drip funnel as the siphon is
not then disconnected from the wastewater
system. Siphon needs seal water drop of at
least 50 mm. Install an open drip funnel with
another siphon at the drain end.
6. Fit siphon with drip funnel and seal water
drop of at least 50 mm as shown.

7. Fill drain with water, check seal integrity
and drainage. Fill the siphon up with water
after long dry periods too.
8. Fit front cover and secure with the two
quick-release locks

Because of the enthalpy heat exchanger,
i
there is no condensate drain.
10.7 Information about air channels and
insulating
Air channels, protective grilles, inspection
openings etc. should be produced, installed
and insulated according to the requirements
of the planning office's planning documents.
Outside and outgoing air connections should
be insulated to prevent diffusion in order to
avoid condensate forming on the ventilation
unit.

WARNING
!
Danger from electric shock.
Before removing the front cover, disconnect
the ventilation unit at all poles from the power
supply, secure against being accidentally
switched back on and position a visible
warning sign.
NOTICE
Danger of short-circuits/damage to unit
should water enter the electronics com-
partment.
Ensure a correct, sealed line feedthrough
through cable feedthrough [4] and [5] .
NOTICE
If the connection cables are too short, the
electronic slide-in module cannot be fully
pulled out and fitted (bypass units).
Ensure connection cables of a sufficient
length inside the ventilation unit.
