11. Hook the lifter chain to the lifter lever of the sewing
machine and to the small treadle on the sewing table.
12. Mount the thread stand base with four screws on the
right side of the table board and assemble the thread
stand as shown in Fig. 3, see also pages 76 to 77.
13. Check the direction of rotation. The handwheel pulley
must rotate clockwise (to the right), when viewed
from the right end of the machine.
Switch on the motor. Only shortly and very slightly de-
press the motor treadle and check the direction of
rotation. Immediately release the treadle. Switch off
and wait until the motor has stopped.

11. Hängen Sie die Lifterkette am Lifterhebel der Näh-
maschine und am kleinen Pedal des Nähtisches ein.
12. Montieren Sie den Fadenständerfuß mit vier Schrau-
ben auf die rechte Seite der Nähtischplatte, und bau-
en Sie den Fadenständer wie in Fig. 3 gezeigt zusam-
men, siehe auch Seiten 76 bis 77.
13. Prüfen Sie die Drehrichtung. Die Handrad-Riemen-
scheibe muß sich im Uhrzeigersinn (nach rechts) dre-
hen, vom rechten Ende der Maschine aus gesehen.
Schalten Sie den Motor ein. Treten Sie das Motorpedal
nur ganz kurz und leicht nach unten und prüfen Sie
die Drehrichtung. Lassen Sie das Pedal sofort wieder
los. Schalten Sie aus und warten Sie den Stillstand des
Motors ab.
