6 MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE

Maintenance
Before carrying out cleaning operations, discon-
nect the constant voltage regulator from the
power network. This prevents the risk of electric
shock. It is not sufficient merely to switch off the con-
stant voltage regulator.
Should the tool fail in spite of careful manufacturing
and testing procedures, have the repairs performed by
an authorized customer service center for Bosch
power tools.
For inquiries and spare parts ordering, please include
the 10-place article number on the nameplate of the
tool.
The device requires no maintenance. Always keep the
device clean and the ventilation slits free.
Routinely clean the connection sockets, couplers, and
plugs of the tool, after it has been disconnected from
the power network, with a dry, lintless cloth and re-
move dust and dirt particles.
Have maintenance and repair work performed
only by qualified specialists. In this manner, it can
be ensured that the safety of the tool is maintained.
Any Bosch customer service center can perform this
work quickly and reliably.
Dispose of lubricants and cleaning agents in an
environment-friendly manner. Comply with the
legal regulations.
Accessories
You can obtain voltage adapters for voltages of 9.6 V,
12.0 V, and 14.4 V, the wall mount 11, and the power
cord (cold device power supply cord) at your specialty
dealer.

Disposal
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be
disposed of for recycling in an environmentally friendly
manner.
Do not dispose of power tools into house-
hold waste!
According to the European Guide Lines
2002/96/EC for waste electric and elec-
tronic equipment and its implementation
into national law, power tools that are no longer usable
must be collected separately and recycled in an envi-
ronmentally friendly manner.
If your tool can no longer be used, deliver it to a recy-
cling center or return it to a dealer – for example, an
authorized Bosch service center.
