Spectacles/magnifying glasses
CAUTION
WARNING of material damage!
► Do not clean any objects with scratched surfaces as these scratches may
be made worse by an ultrasonic treatment .
► Optical lenses may not be cleaned in the ultrasonic bath for longer than
max . 90 seconds .
► Polycarbonate (plastic) lenses may not to be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath .
Ask your optician what material the lenses are made of .
► Screws and fittings that are not firmly attached may come loose during the
cleaning process . Clean items no more than once a month and for only for
a short period (maximum 90 seconds) .
► The appliance is not suitable for cleaning spectacle frames made of delicate
materials such as horn or tortoiseshell .
♦ Place the spectacles in the basket insert
to prevent scratches .
CDs/DVDs
CAUTION

► Do not clean CDs/DVDs repeatedly and only clean them for a short period
(90 seconds) .
► When cleaning CDs/DVDs, use only water without any detergent: washing-
up liquid can damage the label .
♦ Back up data from CDs/DVDs before cleaning .
♦ Place a CD/DVD on the spindle

Sanitary products/writing materials
■ You can use the ultrasonic cleaner to clean dentures/braces, shaving heads of
electric shavers, razor blades and similar sanitary items . The appliance is also
suitable for cleaning the nibs of fountain pens, ballpoint pen casings and printer
nozzles .
