5.2.7 Overflow safety valve
The overflow safety valve protects the high-pressure pump from excessively high pressure
and has been designed in a way that it cannot be set above the maximum permissible oper-
ating pressure. By operating the handwheel two different operating stages can be set. The
limiting nuts on the handwheels have been paint-sealed.
Replacements and repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel. In case of
replacement, only parts authorized by the manufacturer may be used.
Pressure and flow rate regulation:
only operating stages HD (hot water high pressure) and D (steam) are regular and permis-
sible operating stages. For changing the operating stage, a changeover is necessary which
may only be carried out when the machine is switched off and depressurized.
5.2.8 Flow switch
The flow switch protects water heater, high-pressure hose, and spray gun against inadmis-
sible heating temperatures. When the flow rate is insufficient, the flow control valve will shut
down the oil burner.
5.2.9 Regulating thermostat
By operating the turning knob on the regulating thermostat, the desired operating tempera-
ture can be set.
5.2.10 Oil preheater
By means of the oil preheater within the oil burner, clean combustion and ignition, even in
case of low fuel oil temperatures during the cold seasons are guaranteed.
5.2.11 Fuel oil level control
The level control automatically shuts down the oil burner when the amount of fuel oil falls
below the minimum level. At the same time, a red lamp on the switch board indicates lack
of fuel oil.

Installation

6.1

Location

The machine is not restricted to any particular location. However, it must not be installed and
operated in fire and explosion hazard areas. When the machine is installed in closed rooms,
make sure the exhaust gas is properly disposed of and adequate ventilation conditions are
provided.
