BRAKE HANDLE

Warning! In order to avoid any unintentional start-ups of the lawn mower, it comes
equipped with an engine brake which must be pulled back before the engine can
be started. When the engine control lever is released it must return to its initial
position, at which point the engine automatically switches off.
The brake is a basic safety component of a mower. Use the lever to stop the engine and blade
rotation. When you release the lever the engine and the blade stop automatically.
Before you start to mow, check the start/stop lever several times to be sure that it is working
properly.
check that the brake cord can be smoothly operated. If the cord is kinked or damaged, it should
be replaced.
The run-down time depends on the state and wear of the brake. If the brake lever does not
operate properly, contact an authorized service center.
During operation, always hold the handle and brake control handle firmly with

will stop and thus stopping the lawnmower from operating.

TO STOP ENGINE

CAUTION: The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after the engine is shut
off.
