Insert screws each from outside to inside. Secure con-
nections with nuts on the inside.
Note: Tighten the nuts and bolts during assembly only
to the extent that they can not fall down.
If you tighten the nuts and bolts prior to final assembly,
final assembly can not be performed.
8.1 Assembling the base frame (Fig. 4-9)
1. Turn the saw upside down and place it on the floor.
2. Use hex screws (c), locking ring (g) and washers (a)
to fasten the four legs (18) loosely to the saw (Fig.
5). For this please use the Open-ended wrench (t).
m Attention !
2 legs have holes on the Rear, where the stand bars
are fixed. (Fig. 9)
Make sure that they are attached to the back of the
machine.
3. Now loosely screw the longitudinal struts (20), the
cross struts (19) as well as the four center struts
(21, 22) to the legs using the round head screw (n),
washer (a), locking ring (g) and nuts (b) (Fig. 6-7)
4. Be sure to secure the round head screw (n) and nuts
(b) only loosely.
Important: The longer struts (marked with B)
have to be used on the sides.
- Secure center struts with hex bolts into each
other. (shown Fig. 7)
5. Now mount the four rubber feet (23) on the legs (Fig.
8).
6. Screw the stability bars (24) to the bore holes on the
rear legs using 2 hex screws (c), washers (a), lock-
ing ring (g) and nuts (b) on each side. (Fig. 9)
Important.
Both stability bars must be fastened at the
mounting points 38 and 39 at the rear of the
machine.
7. Finally, tighten all screws and nuts on the base
frame.
8.2 Fitting the table width extension and length
extension (Fig. 10-13,15)
1
Loosely fasten the table width extension (14) and
length extension (15) to the saw table (1) using the
hex bolt (c), locking ring (g) and the washers (u)
(Fig. 10-13,15).
2
Loosely screw the table supports (25, 26) to the hous-
ing of the bench-type circular saw with the hex screws
(c), locking ring (g) and washers (a). In addition the
table supports (25, 26) must be loosely screwed to
the width or length extension table with hex screws
(c), washers (a), locking ring (g) and nuts (b). (Use
the short supports (25) for the width extension and
the long supports (26) for the length extension) (Fig.
10-13,15).
3
Turn the saw together with the base frame and place
on the floor.
4
Align the table width extension and length extension
level with the saw table (1).
5
Finally, tighten all screws.
8.3 Mounting suction port (Fig. 14)
1.
Fix the suction port (16) into the opening at the rear
of the machine.
m Caution!
The lateral entry should be facing outwards.
2.
To secure the suction port - place the screws (d) in
the provided holes and tighten all.
8.4 Mounting the splitter, Fig.20-21
Important. Pull out the power plug.
The setting of the saw blade (5) has to be checked
each time after changing the saw blade.
1. Set the blade (5) to max. cutting depth, move to 0°
position and lock in place (see 9.2).
2. Take out the table insert (6) (see 8.6).
3. Slacken the fixing screw (30) and insert the splitter.
4. The distance between the blade (5) and the splitter
(4) should be max. 5 mm. (Fig. 21).
5. Retighten the fixing screw (30) and mount the table
insert (6) (see 8.6).
8.5 Fitting / removing the saw blade guard (Fig.
16-17)
1
The batteries for the laser must be inserted prior to
initial assembly (see 9.8).
2
Place the saw blade guard (2) together with the screw
(27) on top of the splitter (4) so that the screw is snug
in the oval hole (28).
3
Do not tighten the screw (27) too far – the blade
guard must be able to move freely.
4
Fit the extractor hose (3) to the extractor adapter
(16) and the extractor socket on the saw blade guard
(2). Connect a suitable chip extraction system to the
extractor adapter (16).
5
To dismantle, proceed in reverse order.
Important.
The saw blade guard (2) must always be lowered
over the workpiece before you begin to cut.
8.6 Changing the table insert (Fig. 18-19)
1
To prevent increased likelihood of injury, the table
insert (6) should be changed whenever it is worn
or damaged.
2
Remove the 2 countersunk head screws (29).
3
Take out the worn table insert (6).
4
Fit the replacement table insert by following the
above in reverse.
8.7 Adjusting / Mounting the splitter, Fig.20-21
m Important. Pull out the power plug.
The setting of the saw blade (5) has to be checked
each time after changing the saw blade.
1. Set the blade (5) to max. cutting depth, move to 0°
position and lock in place (see 9.2).
2. Dismantle the saw blade guard (2) (see 8.5).
3. Take out the table insert (6) (see 8.6).
4. Slacken the fixing screw (30).
5. Push up the splitter (4).
6. The distance between the blade (5) and the splitter
(4) should be max. 5 mm. (Fig. 21).
7. Retighten the fixing screw (30) and mount the table
insert (6) (see 8.6).
8. Remount the blade guard (2) (see 8.5).
8.8 Fitting/changing the blade (Fig. 22)
1. Important. Pull out the power plug and wear
protective gloves.
2. Dismantle the saw blade guard (2) (see 8.5).
3. Remove the table insert (6) by undoing the two
countersunk head screws (see 8.6).
4. Undo the nut with a wrench (s) (size 24) on the nut
itself and a second fork wrench (r) (size 22) on the
motor shaft to apply counterpressure (see Fig. 22).
5. Important! Turn the nut in the direction of rotation of
the saw blade.
6. Take off the outer flange and pull the old saw blade
off the inner flange by dropping the blade at an
angle.
7. Clean the saw blade flange thoroughly with a wire
brush before fitting the new saw blade.
8. Mount and fasten the new saw blade in reverse
order.
