Saline solutions can be nebulised with the PARI SINUS to mo-
bilise secretion. In this case, please follow the information in
the instructions for use of the saline solution concerned.
If infection or inflammation of the paranasal sinuses is suspec-
ted, an appointment should be made with a doctor who can
prescribe the medications suitable for use in nebuliser therapy
with the PARI SINUS.
It is imperative that patients with cystic fibrosis discuss their
treatment beforehand with a doctor.
An application usually takes 5 to 10 minutes.

2.4 Contraindications

Patients who respond to the treatment with adverse reactions
must stop the therapy.
Following surgery or where inflammation of the middle ear is
present, a risk/benefit assessment for vibrating aerosols must
be carried out by the doctor before the start of treatment.

The PARI SINUS compressor can be used together with the
following nebulisers:
– PARI LC SPRINT SINUS or PARI LC SPRINT XLent, for
treatment of the upper airways with medication aerosols
– PARI LC Plus or PARI LC SPRINT, for treatment of the
lower airways with medication aerosols
