Operating mode S2 (temporary operation)
The machine may be temporarily operated with the
quoted power o utput. Afterwards the machine must
be stopped for a while to prevent it from overheating.
Information concerning noise emission measured ac-
cording to relevant standards:
sound pressure L
= 78 dB(A)
pA
sound power L
= 97 dB(A)
wA
Uncertainty K
= 3,0 dB
pA
Wear ear-muffs.
The impact of noise can cause damage to hearing.

7. Before starting up

m ATTENTION!
Fitting the guide rollers
Caution! The equipment must stand securely on the
pallet. Make sure that the pallet was not damaged
during transport.
1. Fasten the rollers (Fig. 1/Item 6) by fitting the rollers
on the roller holders.
2. Use suitable handling equipment to lift the genera-
tor from the pallet and place it on a firm and level
surface.
Connect the Battery
Prepare and connect the battery (Important. The bat-
tery is not included.) Secure the battery (Fig. 4/Item
23) in the unit using the battery mounting kit (Fig. 4/
Item 20). First connect the red cable (+) and then the
black cable (-) to the battery.
Always check before starting the engine:
• Check the fuel level and top it up if necessary
- the tank should be at least half filled
• Make sure that the generator has sufficient ven-
tilation
• Disconnect possibly connected electronical de-
vice from the generator
• Condition of the air filter
• Condition of the fuel lines
• The external bolt connections for tightness
Attention! Fill the oil before first use.
Before each use, check the oil level with the engine
switched off and on a level surface. Use the highest
quality four-stroke oil or an HD oil with the same level
of quality.
SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general use at all
temperatures.
Checking the oil level, fig. 6
Remove the Servicing cover(Fig. 1)
Remove the oil filler cap (22) and wipe the dipstick
clean.
Check the oil level by inserting the dipstick into the
filling nozzle without screwing the cap on.
If the oil level is too low, refill with the recommended
oil up to the lower rim of the oil filling nozzle.
Filling with fuel
• To refuel - cap (2) open counter clockwise.
• Fill fuel tank in
• Closing tank - tank cap (2) clockwise.

Recommended fuel
Diesel
is
required
Use only fresh and clean fuel.
m Water or impurities in the fuel damage the fuel sys-
tem.
Tank volume: 13,5 litre
m Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the
stopped engine. If the engine has been running,
allow it to cool first. Never refuel the engine in-
side a building where Diesel fumes may reach
flames or sparks.
Diesel is highly flammable and explosiv. You can
get burns or other serious injuries when handling
fuel.
• Switch off the engine and keep it away from heat,
sparks and flames.
• Refuelling only outdoors.
• Immediately clean up spilled petrol.
Electrical safety
Electric supply cables and connected equipment
must be in perfect condition.
The generator is to be operated only with equipment
whose voltage specifications conform with the gen-
erator's output voltage.
Never connect the generator to the power supply
(socket-outlet).
Keep the cable length to the consumer as short as
possible.
Environmental protection
Dispose of soiled maintenance material and operat-
ing materials at the appropriate collection point.
Recycle packaging material, metal and plastics.
Connecting to earth
The housing is allowed to be connected to earth in
order to discharge static electricity. To do this, con-
nect one end of a cable to the earth connection on
the generator (Fig. 2/Item 14) and the other end to an
external earth (for example an earthing rod).
8. Operation

8.1 Starting the engine

• Check whether the mechanical switch (Fig. 4/Item
23) is set to "RUN". n
• Set the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 2/Item 18) to the "ON"
position using the key.
• Pull the decompression cable
• Turn the key to the "Start" position and release the
key as soon as the engine is started.
Note: Some electrical appliances (power jigsaws,
drills, etc.) may have a higher level of power con-
sumption when used in difficult conditions
Some electrical appliances (for example televisions,
computers, etc.) should not be powered by a genera-
tor. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer of your ap-
pliance.
Overload cut-out
The generator is fitted with an overload cut-out. This
isolates the relevant sockets if an overload occurs.
Important. If this happens, reduce the electric power
you are taking from the generator or remove any de-
fective connected appliances.
