If excessive amounts of water enter the boat, the propeller shaft must be greased (the grease ensures
that the shaft is sealed into which the pipe runs).
1. Unscrew the rudder blade.
3. Wipe the shaft clean and regrease
(e.g. with Vaseline or similar).
5. Retighten the rudder blade.

2. Loosen the 2 screws at the back end of the
motor coupling and remove the shaft from
the stern tube.
4. Slide the shaft back into the stern tube and
tighten the screw on the motor coupling.

• The ON/OFF switch is set to "OFF".
• The battery is too low or drained.

• The ON/OFF switch is set to "OFF".
• The batteries have been inserted incorrectly.
• The batteries don't have enough power.

• The remote control switch is set to "OFF".
• The receiver switch on the boat is set to "OFF".
• The connection between the remote control and
model has been lost.
cause:
• The propellers move too slowly.
• The battery power is not sufficient.
cause:
• The battery is too weak.
cause:
• The steering reverse switch
has been adjusted.

8. SAFety ruDDer BLADe:
Your boat is equipped with a safety rudder blade. This means that the rudder blade can
give way and fold backwards if it gets stuck on an obstacle (stone, branch or similar) and
means that no further damage is caused to the boat (fig. 1). In order to fold the rudder
blade forwards again, proceed as follows:

1. Loosen the retainer screw on the blade and turn it forwards (fig. 2).
2. Replace the white plastic pin and retightened the retainer screw, but not too
tightly to guarantee the function of the safety rudder (fig. 3).
Remedy:
• Then set the ON/OFF switch to "ON".
• Charge the battery (see chapter on "charging batteries").
Remedy:
• Then set the ON/OFF switch to "ON".
• Check whether the batteries have been correctly inserted.
• Insert new batteries.
Remedy:
• Switch the switch on the radio remote control to "ON".
• The receiver switch on the boat is switched to "ON".
• Check the antenna and pull out fully.
• Repeat the connection process (see Connecting the
model to the remote control).
Remedy:
• Pull the speed controller.
• Charge the battery (see chapter on "charging
batteries").

Remedy:
• Restore the normal setting of the steering reverse.
