• The device is not suitable for cleaning unsealed wooden fl oors, soft plastic,
wooden furniture or leather.
• The device may not be used to treat synthetic fabrics, velvet or other sensi-
tive materials.
• The device is not intended to be used outdoors.
• The device is conceived for private use, not for commercial use.
• Only use the device as described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed
improper. Incorrect operation and incorrect handling may cause faults with the device
and cause injury to the user.
• Defects arising due to improper handling, damage, calcifi cation or attempts at repair
are excluded from the guarantee. This also applies to normal wear and tear of the
individual components.

Safety Instructions

This device may be used by people with reduced physical,

sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or
knowledge if they are supervised or have received instruction on
how to use the device safely and have understood the dangers
resulting from this.
Children may not play with the device.

Only use and store the device out of the reach of children. The

mains cord may also not be accessible for children. They could
pull the device down with it.
Do not use the device in rooms containing easily fl ammable

Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. Make sure

that the device, the mains cord or the mains plug do not fall in
water or are at risk of getting wet. If the device falls in water, im-
mediately disconnect the power supply.
WARNING - Scalding hazard! This device works with

hot steam. Never point the steam directly at people,
animals or plants.
WARNING of hot surfaces! Only hold the device by
■
the handle during operation.
The steam may not be pointed towards the mains cord or parts
■
containing electric components (e. g. stereo systems, televi-
sions, monitors, switches, lights, microwave devices etc.).
Never undo the water tank catch during use. Always ensure
■
that the water tank is fi rmly closed before using the device.
