Avoiding damage to materials, property and the device
■ Each time before using the device, check the fl oor pad for wear. The cloth may not
be used if it is visibly worn down or exhibits damages. Otherwise it could damage
your fl oor.
■ Only use the device when it is not damaged and in a fully functional state and has
been completely assembled and the fl oor pad for cleaning the fl oor has been at-
tached.
■ Only use accessories included in the product contents or exclusively those recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
■ Always work with suffi cient lighting.
■ Do not insert anything in the device's openings / nozzles and ensure that they are
not plugged.
■ Never fi ll the device with cleaners or other additives. They may irreparably damage
the device and as such, the safe operation of the device can no longer be assured.
■ Use cold tap or distilled water to fi ll the device.
■ Do not overfi ll the water tank.
■ Never operate the device without water.
■ Never apply the vapour stream to one area for more than approximately 10 seconds.
Otherwise, it could damage the surface.
■ Surfaces, which have been treated with wax, may lose their wax coat due to heat
and steam.
■ Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
■ Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, strong temperature fl uctuations,
direct sunlight or moisture.
■ Empty the water tank completely before you store the device.
■ Store the device in a dry, clean, and cool place.
