Safety instructions

Proper use

❐ This device is designed for cleaning heat-resistant surfaces. It is also suitable for cleaning
laminate fl oors providing you follow the instructions below:
1. The laminate should be correctly laid and there should be no gaps or cracks into which
moisture may penetrate.
2. First test the steam cleaner on an inconspicuous area and check the laminate afterwards
for ripples or moisture penetration.
3. If the surface shows no damage, the device can be used to clean the whole laminate fl oor.
❐ Consult a qualifi ed professional as to whether your fl oor surfaces are suitable for being
cleaned with the steam cleaner. Always test the steam cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area
fi rst.
❐ The device is suitable for freshening up upholstered furniture. Please always observe the care
instructions for the textiles before freshening them up with the device. Test the steam cleaner
on a small, inconspicuous area before.
❐ The device is not suitable for surfaces that are sensitive to heat or moisture such as wallpa-
per, velvet, silk, unsealed and/or waxed wooden surfaces, soft plastic, leather, and cold glass
(e.g. at outdoor temperatures around the freezing point).
❐ Keep the device away from moisture. Only use the device in closed spaces.
❐ The device is intended for domestic, not commercial use. Only use the device as described in
these instructions. Any other use is deemed improper.
