To perfect a seamless loop, you can edit the

the time index of the end point.
2
Now determine the new end point with the
jogdial.

Shortly press the button OUT to finish editing
or shortly press the button RELOOP to edit
the starting point as well.

Selecting the repeat function

Long actuation of the button FOLDER []
activates the repeat function. Then all titles in the
folder selected will be continuously repeated.
• The display indicates "REPEAT".
• Renewed
long
actuation
deactivates the repeat function and continues
normal play.

Using the fader start function

When the CMP-2000 is connected to a mixer
with contact control via the supplied control
cables, the function start/cue can be operated
remotely with the mixer. By advancing the mixer's
fader the respective player mechanism is set to
play mode. By closing the mixer's fader the player
mechanism returns to the last set cue point and
changes into pause mode.
Relay mode (automatic start of the
other player mechanism)
At the end of a title (in single title mode) or at the
end of the last title of the data carrier (in
continuous mode) the other player mechanism
can be started automatically.
1
Load a data carrier in each player and select
the operating mode.
2
Press the button [◄►] RELAY to activate
the relay mode (red control LED lights) and
start playback on the first player. At the end
of the title or data carrier (depending on the
operating mode selected) playback on the
other player will begin automatically and the

9. EFFECT FUNCTIONS

Scratch mode

Select the Scratch operating mode with the button
JOG MODE to switch on the scratch function for
the jogdial. Now turn the jogdial back and forth to
create scratch effects.

Brake effect

If the jogdial is continuously turned in a
counterclockwise direction in Pitch Bend mode,
the playback speed will decrease to a maximum
of -100 %, i.e. the standstill of the title. You can
also use the pitch control to decrease the
playback speed to a maximum of -100 % (audio
CD only). This effect corresponds to the stopping
of an analog turntable.

Creating stutter effects

The starting point of a continuous loop and the
cue point can also be used for creating stutter
effects. For this purpose, shortly press the button
RELOOP several times.
