Button FOLDER with indicator []
• For switching over between title and folder
selection mode with the press control TRACK
[]. In folder mode, the red control LED lights.
• Long actuation: activates/deactivates the repeat
function. With the function activated, all titles in
the folder selected will be continuously repeated.
The display indicates "REPEAT".

Press control TRACK []
• Turn the control to browse the titles. Title number
and title name (MP3 files only) are indicated in the
display. If you keep the control pressed while
turning it at the same time, you can jump 10 titles
forward or backward.
• To browse folders, first press the button FOLDER
[] to activate the folder selection mode. Then
turn the control to browse the folders. If you keep
the control pressed while turning it at the same
time, you can jump 10 folders forward or
backward. The folder number and name are
indicated in the display.
• Short repeated actuation of the control allows
indicating the individual ID3 tag information of the
title: Title, Artist, Album, Genre, File Name. The bit
rate will always be displayed additionally.

Button TAP BPM
• If the automatic beat counter is not able to
determine the number of beats per minute (BPM)
of the current title, this button allows you to
manually set the BPM. For this, tap the button
several times to the beat of the music until the
determined BPM are
indicated.
• Alternatively, you can directly enter the BPM value
with the press control TRACK [
keep the button TAP BPM pressed and turn the
press control TRACK [
value. To adjust the decimal value, additionally
hold down the press control TRACK [

Buttons PITCH BEND [+] and [–]
During playback, the function Pitch Bend creates a
temporary change of speed depending on the pitch
adjustment range selected (up to 100 % for audio
CDs; up to 16 % for MP3 files. As long as the
button [–] is actuated, the title is played slower. As
long as the button [+] is actuated, the title is played
faster. As soon as you release the buttons, the
BPM will automatically return to normal.

Button [◄►] RELAY with indicator
For automatic start of the other player mechanism
at the end of a title (in single mode) or at the end of
the last title on the data carrier (in continuous
mode). With the function activated, the red control
LED lights.

Buttons IN, OUT, RELOOP
Buttons to memorize and play a seamless loop.
• IN: Sets the starting point of a loop (LED lights
red) and defines a cue point without interrupting
the music ("on the fly").
• OUT: Defines the end point of a continuous loop
which is instantly started (LEDs IN and OUT will
be flashing). The loop will continue to play until the
button OUT is pressed once again.
• RELOOP: Starts the loop once again (LEDs IN
and OUT will be flashing) and creates stutter
effects by short repeated actuation. Press the
button OUT to exit the loop.

Button [ ] KEY LOCK
Short actuation activates/deactivates the master
tempo function. With the function activated, the
display indicates
remains constant when the speed is changed with
the pitch slide control.

Button % [PITCH ON] with indicator
• Long actuation: Activates/deactivates the pitch
slide control. With the control activated, the red
control LED lights.
• Short actuation: Selects the pitch adjustment
range: 4 %, 8 %, 16 %, and 100 % for audio CDs;
up to 16 % for MP3 CDs.

This slide control sets the playback speed
