4.19. Receipt of a external call during an internal call
If you receive an outside call during an internal call, you will hear a call waiting
tone (double beep) on both handsets being used for the internal call.
- Press the Line key twice to accept the outside call.
- After finishing your call, press the Line key to hang up or put the handset
back on the base unit.
4.20. Transferring a call to another handset
- You have an outside caller on the line.
- Press the 'TRANS' (through-connect) key.
- Dial the number of the handset to which you would like to transfer the call.
- If the handset dialled is answered, you can have an internal conversation.
Press the Line key and the outside call is transferred.
- If the handset dialled is 'NOT ANSWERING', press the 'INT' key to speak to
the outside caller again.
4.21. Setting pause length
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'TELEPHONE' appears.
- Press the OK key.
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'BS SETTINGS' appears.
- Press the OK button or 'BACK' to return.
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'DIAL CONFIG' appears.
- Press the OK button or 'BACK' to return.
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'PAUSE TIME' appears.
- Press the OK button or 'BACK' to return.
- 'PAUSE X S' appears on the display. Repeatedly press the Menu key until the
correct number of seconds appears (1-5).
- Press the OK button or 'BACK' to return.
4.22. Setting year
To display the weekday (Monday, Tuesday,...) in the call list, the year must first
be set:
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'TELEPHONE' appears.
- Press the OK key.
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'BS SETTINGS' appears.
- Press the OK button or 'BACK' to return.
- Repeatedly press the Menu key until 'SET YEAR' appears.
- Press the OK button or 'BACK' to return.
- Press 01 for year 2001, 02 = 2002,...
- Press 'SAVE' or 'BACK' to go back.
