6. THE MAIN MENU
The items of the Menu can include:
1. Buttons for moving to the next level of the Menu;
2. Entry fields. For entry of values, use NUMERICAL buttons 0 ~ 9 [5], to acknowledge the entry depress
the OK [24] button, or one of the buttons
3. Drop-down lists. To open the list depress OK [24], to move through the list use
the selection depress OK [24]; to cancel depress EXIT [23]; an element of the list can also be selected
using the buttons
NOTE!
Drop-down list can also be an entry field.
To have an access to the majority of functions of the Receiver, one should know the PIN code (a request for
entry of the code will be displayed on the screen). By default, the code is set to 0000.

7. INSTALLATIoN

7.1 Automatic search of channels

Working with this Menu screen is similar to Steps 4, 5 of the Installation wizard.

7.2 Manual search of channels

In the Menu item of Manual search of channels one
should enter detailed settings (frequency of the
transponder, and parameters thereof ) to perform
search of channels with arbitrary parameters.
To do that it would be required to:
• Select the number of the aerial or create a new
one;
• Select the name of satellite;
• Enter the frequency of transponder in the
format of xxxxx;
• Select polarisation of the transponder (vertical,
horizontal, left, right, auto);
• Select the type of modulation (DVB-S QPSK, DVB-S2 QPSK, DVB-S2 8PSK);
• Enter the symbol rate in the format of xxxxx;
• Select the value of the parameter of forward error correction (FEC);
If the transponder exists, and the details are correct, the scales in the bottom of the screen would indicate
the the quality and level of the signal;
Start search in the Menu.

During search the screen would display: the scale of progress and two lists of the detected channels (TV
and Radio). New channels are displayed in white colour and those available in the base – in grey colour.
If a detected channel already exists in the common list it would not be added repeatedly.
